Today, I would like to describe Italy
sweets. There are many delicious sweets in Italy. This
is the last continuation. In Italy, the special feature of each area is seen in
north, south, and Sicilia. The sweets in which the northern part used dairy
products, the sweets in which the southern part used honey and ricotta, and
Sicily are famous for the sweets which use the almond of a specialty article.
First of all, Gelato is sweets famous also
for Japan. Gelato means "icy" in Italian. All the ice milk containing
ice cream and sherbet is called gelato. In Japan, gelato points out the Italian ice
cream of the taste clean by low fat. Gelato has the feature that such creamy
stickiness that it kneads comes out. Since it is low fat, there is also no
persistence and it can enjoy the flavor of raw material as it is. It seems that
there are about 600 kinds of kinds of gelato in home Italy.
Secondly, Biscotti are the biscuits which
are dipped in a drink and eaten. Biscotti are the baked confectionery often
eaten in the Toscana district. It is the biscuit firmly roasted in oven until it
dries perfectly. Because it is fairly hard, it is difficult to eat as it is. So
after dipping in a drink, it is made soft and eats. In Italy, eating for breakfast is popular
and it is located in a line with a table together with cappuccino or caffelatte.
Finally, Pandoro is a famous sweet of
Italy. Since
full use of the egg is used and it roasts in yellow, there is an alias called
golden bread. Northern Italy Verona is famous for pandoro. In Italy of the home, if pandoro is
purchased, sugar will also follow together. If sugar is put into the bag which has
wrapped pandoro and it falls up and down, sugar will fall on whole pandoro just
like snowcap, and also delicacy will increase. Pandoro is often eaten at the time of
Christmas.
